Job Description:

As a Yard Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our yard, ensuring that all stock is received, processed, and dispatched efficiently and accurately. You will work closely with the sales team, warehouse team, and other departments to ensure that we meet our customers' needs in a timely and professional manner.

Main Responsibilities of this Role:

• Manage and supervise yard staff, ensuring that they are trained, motivated, and working safely at all times
• Receive, process, and dispatch stock in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure that the yard is well-organized, clean, and tidy at all times
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that stock levels are maintained
• Coordinate with the sales team to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled promptly and accurately
• Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and all equipment is maintained and serviced regularly

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role in a similar environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Intermediate computer skills, including basic excel
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Forklift license preferred
• Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy items when required
• Must have a valid driver's license

Hours:

Monday – Friday (Saturdays in addition by roster).
